Christmas is a fantastic time of year to spend time with family and friends. I also think it is a perfect time of year to capture the emotions shared by family members.

Now in it’s 5th year, my annual family portrait is a way I join my 2 great loves – my family and photography.

Being a busy time of year, it often not feasible to use all of my studio gear to capture this moment in time. To save time, this year I  used a white backdrop, single flash (on camera) and remote to do our family portrait. Some quick editing and a photo that will help us remember 2012 the year that was.
